Position Title: Content Creator

Department: Marketing/Business Development

Reports To: Marketing Manager

Location:

Education/Experience: 3-5 years’ experience creating content with an emphasis on photography and videography

Summary: The Pogue Content Creator is a creative and detailed oriented individual who will bring Pogue’s construction projects and events to life across all media. Their content will bring positive publicity toward Pogue Construction and help to advance the firm’s client base by attracting new clients and supporting existing clients.

Responsibilities

  • Shoot and edit video and photos, to include but not limited to: Construction Projects, Events, Personnel Headshots
  • Collaborate with team members to schedule photo and video shoots
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to capture content needed
  • Promote company culture, projects, and people through photo and video
  • Create content for project pursuit and recruiting material: proposals interviews, brochures, flyers, banners, posters, etc.
  • Support with the creation and updating of interview PowerPoint presentations
  • Create and update marketing brochures (market sector and recruitment)
  • Create and update banners, pop-ups, and tradeshow booths and media
  • Use online platforms to develop digital publishing or interactive PDFs
  • Create content for the Pogue website and social media accounts
  • Repurpose content for use on different platforms (social, email, web, etc.)
  • Craft social media post in collaboration with Client Event Coordinator and Marketing Assistant with Marketing Manager oversight
  • Develop content ideas in collaboration with Marketing Manager
  • Create and update content calendar in collaboration with Marketing Manager and others
  • Implement specific design and approval processes in collaboration with Marketing Manager; approvals needed to include but not limited to: Safety Director, Project Team Lead and Marketing Manager
  • Support the Pogue Life Gym as needed (brochures, fitness printouts, calendars)
  • Work closely with the Marketing Assistant to be sure social media content is posted according to the schedule

Required Skills

  • Advanced experience working with photography equipment and lighting
  • Proficient in Adobe Applications: Premier Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Audition, Photoshop

Responsibilities

  • Support Marketing Department with RFP/RFQ process as needed.
    • CRM updates
    • Project data sheet creation/updates

Director of Business Development

Reports To: Chief of Staff

Location:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications or other commensurate experience.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, communications, or business development role. Experience in the construction industry preferred.

Summary: The Director of Business Development is responsible for overseeing the business development operations of Pogue Construction. They will set company revenue targets and goals.  They will assist in the pursuits and acquisition of new clients and work diligently to develop strong relationships with the goal of advancing Pogue Construction’s client base. Their efforts will increase company profits and bring positive publicity toward Pogue Construction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop production and sales goals
  • Follow industry developments and stay up to date on competitors and innovative practices
  • Capture prospect and market needs/trends and consult with Executive Leadership for solution development
  • Research prospective clients in targeted markets
  • Pursue leads for future community construction projects
  • Perform relationship building with prospective clients
  • Update and track current client touches within CRM database
  • Meet with new clients to understand program needs
  • Support the Marketing Team to assist in preparing new project proposals to ensure that requirements are met
  • Create and present customized interview presentations
  • Continuously promote Pogue’s culture and company core values
  • Oversee new initiatives
  • Oversee and attend tradeshows & events
  • Consult with Executive Leadership Team on monetary health of the organization and next steps for generating business

  • Create, maintain, and update written promotional materials including case studies, data sheets, resumes and market-sector brochures
