A. The Project consists of construction of a 2-story 103,000 SF new E.C. Mason Elementary School Replacement and related sitework in Manvel, Texas between FM1128, Lewis Ln, School Road, and Large Ave, as indicated on the Contract Documents prepared by Stantec Architecture and consultants, dated June 24, 2019.
B. The Work consists of Civil, Landscape, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection requirements as indicated in the Project drawings and specifications.
C. There will be roadwork on FM1128 and School Road that will be by a separate contract. Close coordination with that work will be required.
REQUIRED COMPLETION DATES:
A. The Work shall be conducted according to the following schedule to ensure that the Owner has sufficient opportunity to ready the facility for occupancy and permit an orderly transfer of personnel, furnishings, and equipment.
1. Start Date for On-Site Construction: Approximately September 1, 2019
2. Project Substantial Completion Date: On or before December 1, 2020
