The Community Athletic Improvements Project for Community ISD consists of renovations to the existing Baseball and Softball fields, and a new press box for the Football Field. The 140,000 SF Baseball field will be replaced by a new synthetic turf, clay infield, bleachers, press box, LED Lighting, and dugouts. The 50,000 SF Softball field will receive the same upgrades as the baseball field. THE SYNTHETIC TURF FOR BOTH FIELDS IS A DELEGATED DESIGN. The new football press box will be a prefabricated press box with a covered observation deck. There are two (2) alternates. Alternate One is to provide two turf football practice fields. Alternate Two is to provide new Pre-Engineered Metal Building Batting Cages and Bullpens.
*IMPORTANT NOTE* A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Community ISD Softball/Baseball Complex at 611 FM 1138 North, Nevada, TX, on Thursday, January 23rd at 11:00 AM. It is strongly advised that subcontractors intending to bid attend the site walk.
