Experience:

  • Two years’ proven work experience as an internal recruiter, recruiter, or hiring role.  Construction industry experience preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration or Human Resources

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support company recruitment efforts with a proactive approach
  • Possess a clear understanding of Pogue’s job descriptions
  • Understand Pogue’s hiring needs, company values & goals
  • Meet with managers to understand exact role requirements
  • Meet with recruiting team to plan and execute a detailed hiring roadmap to include timelines
  • Research industry trends
  • Maintain a pulse on companies (GC’s & Subcontractors) within the industry & top talent serving within those organizations
  • Source candidates through professional networks, associations, referrals & focused outreach
  • Seek unique avenues for sourcing candidates
  • Solicit qualified “passive” candidates
  • Screen resumes & update candidates on hiring processes
  • Support with interviewing candidates during various hiring stages, including phone, level 1 & level 2 interviews
  • Position requires time spent in both the office & field
